I found a picture of this beetle looking for reference pictures that showed interesting color transitions, irridescence, and things that I just thought looked cool.  This beetle is painted using Daniel Smith watercolor paints on 5" by 7" Winsor & Newton 300 gsm cold pressed watercolor paper.   This piece is sold matted and framed.
